Helping Hands Not Handouts

Have you ever had to worry about how you are going to survive winter? Many single men experiencing homelessness in Northwest Indiana do not know where their meals, clothes and necessities for the winter are going to come from.

New Creation Men’s Center is a local daytime center that is open to local homeless men of Porter County to provide a safe environment for homeless men to help with day-to-day burdens they encounter. This center offers a program where a homeless man can be assigned to a case manager to help them one-on-one with their specific needs in a more personal manner. However, if the men do not elect to join the program, the center still provides a place to shower and sleep, basic necessities, and meals. New Creation Men’s Center aspires to help local homeless men in supporting them in a difficult time in their lives.

With winter quickly approaching, New Creation Men’s Center has more men reaching out for their services and support. As a result, there is a need for backpacks filled with size large or extra large boxers, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, deodorant, and toiletries. The need for backpacks and its contents are essential in making sure New Creation Men’s Center will be able to help every man who walks through the door by giving them one of these backpacks. Even receiving a monetary donation will help New Creation Men’s Center in providing their men with essentials that they need.

Donations can be dropped off at 2102 Calumet Ave, New Creation Men’s Center office. Any sort of donation will greatly impact and help New Creation Men’s Center this winter.

Ways to Give

The success of the New Creation Men’s Center is based on the talents of our staff, but we can not do it alone. As the homeless men in Porter County depend on our services we provide for them, we depend on your help to be able to provide those services.
